Minimum Qualifications

1. Possession of a valid permanent state education department teaching certificate.

2. Certification as a teacher of the visually impaired.

3. Certification in special education.

4. Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting (of children).

5. Ability to travel extensively within the eight counties of western New York.

6. Prior experience with related services coordination, orientation and mobility, and/or braille preferred.

Fee for service Per diem positions also available - Special Education certification preferred but not required for Per Diem positions.
