Job Coach

Job coaches provide individualized training, support & assistance, and observation to program students at their internship/externship work  sites. This guidance will help the students master their job duties, integrate with other employees, and develop appropriate levels of communication with their supervisors.

This is great experience for individuals who would like to help the students achieve maximum independence in employment.

Interested candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Available to work on a temporary basis (about three weeks every four months and/or over the summer).
• Ability to communicate effectively and to provide meaningful coaching and instruction.
• Possess a good deal of patience and compassion; feel comfortable when working with disabled individuals.
• Positive attitude & sound judgement.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must provide own transportation.
