FAQ
- Statler Center prepares people with physical disabilities and/or visual impairments for exciting careers in the hotel/travel/tourism business.
- Our placement department helps you find a job that gives great pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.
- Job possibilities include front desk clerks, reservations agents, customer service representatives, switchboard operators and many, many more.
- Our program meets Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm for 10 weeks.
- We offer three class sessions per year; students can begin their training in the January, May, or August session.
- Statler Center provides computer training in the latest technology and software programs, whether or not you have experience working with computers.
- A three-week internship is built into the program, giving students a chance to see firsthand what it is like to work in the hotel/travel/tourism industry.
- Staff members are experienced working with all kinds of disabilities; we’re here to help you succeed.
- Guest speakers who work within the business and instructors from local colleges and universities will give you the skills and training you need to succeed in the industry.
- Interested students need to have a high school diploma or GED.
