Social Casework

At Olmsted Center, our qualified and caring staff provides our clients with the proper resources to improve their quality of life.

Our social casework department offers comprehensive one-on-one adjustment counseling for individuals experiencing vision loss.

In addition to adjustment counseling our team will assist our clients in utilizing the resources available to them in their community.

From transportation assistance to benefit counseling and housing, the staff at Olmsted Center strives to provide every individual with the confidence, tools and the ability to continue on the road to an independent and fulfilling life.

Support Group Information

Gender specific structured support groups, address the specific needs/issues faced by both men and women.

Support groups meet at Olmsted Center, once a week, for 12 weeks, for one hour.

Participants are responsible to get their own transportation.
